A large portion (two suitcases) is for Douglas and his nonprofit (printer ink, printer toner, ribbon, plastic containers, a used Macbook, Quickbooks software, dry food mixes, etc). We are also bringing some treats that include a lot of beef jerky for the Masai people that Douglas knows. He said they love it!
As far as our personal items, we plan to get through the three weeks with one backpack each. Yikes! Wish us luck.

Wow - Home stretch! Have a great time. I hope you don't have to carry around the toner cartridges and printer too long.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to this. I'm surprised you can get through three weeks with one backpack each. I would take two extra large suitcases. Yes, there was a lot of space and weight taken up with stuff for the folks in Uganda, but I did take some extra food along. Meals might be few and far between.
